BridgePort Brewing Co Benefit for Portland Audubon
| When: Aug 15, 2009 from 04:00 pm to 09:00 pm |
BridgePort and the Audubon Society of Portland have been teaming up to bring great beer with a purpose to Portland formore than 25 years. BridgePort’s Blue Heron Pale Ale, first brewed in 1987 as a special release for the Audubon Society of Portland, was named
after Portland’s official city bird, the Great Blue Heron. BridgePort was also one of the
original sponsors of Audubon’s Peregrine Watch Program in 1994 celebrating the return of the Peregrine Falcon to Portland’s skies.
Over the years BridgePort has donated use of their Brewpub many times to allow Portland Audubon to kick off new initiatives and celebrate environmental victories. We hope you’ll be able to join us on August 15th to celebrate this partnership and raise critical funds for Audubon's conservation efforts.
