Join Portland Audubon's Backyard Habitat Program Coordinator Nikkie West at the Fix-it-Fair for this free habitat workshop. She will cover the low and no-cost ways of building great backyard habitat, such as: the basics of propagating native shrubs from hardwood cuttings, species that save you money by easily growing from seed, and information about free resources and incentive programs.

Location: Ron Russell Middle School, 3955 SE 112th Avenue
Time: workshop - 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. | Fix-it-Fair - 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Cost: free and open to the public
