We got 2 big prizes from the legislature this year- $100 million investment to keep Oregon's 82,500-acre Elliott State Forest in public ownership and a Trust Lands Transfer Bill that could protect the forest in the future. Let’s Celebrate!

Where: Rogue Eastside Pub and Pilot Brewery (928 SE 9th Avenue, Portland, OR 97214) --We'll be outside on the patio!

You’ve probably heard by now that we received two big prizes from the legislature this year- a $100 million investment to keep Oregon's 82,500-acre Elliott State Forest in public ownership and a Trust Lands Transfer Bill that could protect the forest in the future. Please join us August 3 to celebrate this major hurdle, and find out how to stay involved through the next year to advocate for the most critical habitat remains protected.

It has been a long road to get us here, and without you, it wouldn't have happened. A huge thanks goes out to each and every one of you for elevating your voice, talking with friends and neighbors, calling elected officials, signing petitions, cutting checks, participating in community science, filing lawsuits, visiting the forest, and doing everything you could to prevent Big Timber's privatization of this incredible Coast Range forest.

Instead of clearcuts, muddy creeks, and steel gates, the Elliott will continue to generate clean water, provide essential salmon and wildlife habitat, and offer unparalleled recreation opportunities. This is an investment in Oregon that future generations will be forever grateful for.

Let’s celebrate this great accomplishment together!
