Portland Audubon Birding Book Club

The Portland Audubon Book Club meets every third Wednesday of the month and will provide a relaxed atmosphere to discuss conservation issues, animal science, and bird behavior.

Where: Heron Hall at Portland Audubon's Interpretive Center (5151 NW Cornell Road, Portland, Holi Moli97210)

Join us for a special book club on Wednesday, September 20 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. to have a brief organizational meeting and discussion to select future book titles. Then at 7:00 p.m., author of Holy Moli, Hob Osterlund, will be on hand for a reading, book signing, and Q & A with attendees!

Hob Osterlund is an award-winning writer and photographer whose work has appeared in National Geographic Explorer, The New York Times, Nature, and more. As Founder of the Kauai Albatross Network, she serves as Habitat Liaison for private property owners who host Laysan albatross, an iconic species that’s begun to repopulate its ancient home in the Hawaiian Islands.

The Portland Audubon Book Club meets every third Wednesday of the month and will provide a relaxed atmosphere to discuss conservation issues, animal science, and bird behavior. Book selections and meeting leadership will rotate based on group interest. Members of Portland Audubon who purchase the book at the Nature Store will receive a 20% discount on the title.

All are invited to join this fun and casual ongoing discussion group!
