John Hadidian is the Director of the Urban Wildlife Programs at The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS).  Prior to coming to The HSUS he served as the Regional Wildlife Biologist for the National Park Service’s Center for Urban Ecology in Washington, DC. John has served on the U.S. Department of State's Man and the Biosphere Program as a member of the Human Dominated Systems Directorate, Associate Editor for the journal Urban Ecosystems, Chair of the Wildlife Society’s Urban Wildlife Working Group, and member of the U. S. Department of Agriculture’s National Wildlife Services Advisory Committee.  He is the principal author of the book Wild Neighbors: the humane approach to living with wildlife.
