Lights Out Sign-Up

What you can do to help: Building owners, managers, employees, and tenants can save birds by turning off unnecessary lights during migration. It’s easy, and it saves energy and money while saving birds!

What

Turn off rooftop lighting
Turn off other exterior decorative lighting
Turn off lobby and atrium lighting
Turn off interior lights (or install motion detectors)
Schedule daytime cleaning crews
Pull blinds or drapes

When

Between dusk and dawn
Spring: March 15 to June 7
Fall: August 25 to November 15
