A hearing on Senate Bill 536, before the Senate’s Committee on Environment and Natural Resources, takes place in Salem at 3 p.m. Tuesday. The bill has the support of myriad green groups, including Audubon Society of Portland, the Oregon League of Conservation Voters and Willamette Riverkeepers.
