Who knew Portland had tree envy? About 26 percent of Portland is covered by tree leaves, branches and trunks, when viewed from above. San Antonio boasts 38 percent coverage and Atlanta nearly 37 percent, according to separate analyses by conservation group American Forests and the U.S. Department of Agriculture. "We're good, but we're not at the top," said Brian Krieg, chairman of the citizen Urban Forestry Commission.
