The Port of Portland is looking anew at 826 undeveloped acres in north Portland for industrial use. Bob Sallinger with the Portland Audubon Society of Portland notes that the area is an irreplaceable sanctuary for wildlife, and would not benefit from being covered with cargo terminals and parking lots.
