Early Tuesday, the Audubon Society of Portland coordinated a roundup of domestic ducks and geese at Westmoreland Park in Southeast Portland.
Early Tuesday, the Audubon Society of Portland coordinated a roundup of domestic ducks and geese at Westmoreland Park in Southeast Portland.
Along with Portland Parks & Recreation and federal wildlife officials, the Audubon Society is working to save the domestic waterfowl in the park, where it's often difficult for them to co-exist with their wild brethren.
The ducks and geese will be given to families and farmers who can care for them in a safer environment.
