Sanctuaries and Trails
Portland Audubon’s sanctuaries and visitor areas provide many opportunities to enjoy and learn about nature, from meeting our education birds to taking a guided nature walk at our East-side Branch.
Audubon Sanctuary
Our 150-acre nature sanctuary in northwest Portland is open daily from dawn to dusk. Get an up-close look at native wildlife while exploring its 4 miles of forested trails, or visit our education birds, who live on-site at the Wildlife Care Center.
East-side Branch
Enjoy classes, walks, presentations and youth summer camps at our east Portland-metro branch, located at Leach Botanical Garden near Gresham.
Ten Mile Creek Sanctuary
This stretch of temperate rainforest on the Oregon coast is a site of extraordinary ecological importance. School and professional groups can visit Ten Mile Creek by appointment.
