Besides the many Audubon Society of Portland community events, we celebrate these fundraisers which engage thousands of participants. We welcome anyone and everyone to participate in the fun.
| Soaring for 30 years! Birdathon is celebrating it's 30th anniversary in 2010 - you'll want to be a part of the festivities and fun! Birdathon is a tradition at spring time, involving 300 bird counters and over 3,000 pledgers cheering from the sidelines. Birdathon works like a walkathon, except Birdathon participants count species instead of miles. |

The Lost Bird Project A stunning group of five 5 – 7 ft tall bronze sculptures immortalizing North American birds which have been driven to extinction, the Audubon Society of Portland is working with sculptor, Todd Victor McGrain, to bring The Lost Bird Project to a West Coast launch at Waterfront Park from June through December 2010.
