Sponsor one of our education birds! Portland Audubon provides a permanent home for several non-releasable native birds who now serve as ambassadors for their species in classrooms and at events. Each bird came to us with an injury so severe that they would be unable to survive in the wild. Sponsoring a bird is a great way to learn more about these incredible creatures while helping us meet the birds' food, medical and housing needs. The Nature Store is filled with great gifts for the holidays. Nature Store Gift Cards

Each of our colorful charge card-style Gift Cards bears the image of a Yellow Warbler. These handy cards are available in any denomination and never expire. They can also be recharged at any time to add additional value. Our staff is happy to issue these cards in person at the Nature Store or over the phone - just call the store at 503-292-9453. We can mail them directly to your recipient, enclosed in one of our beautiful Bruce Horsfall greeting cards.

Gift Trees

Leave a legacy for future generations by giving Gift Trees. Thanks to a partnership with Friends of Trees and Metro, Portland Audubon's Collins Sanctuary is being restored and replanted with hundreds of native trees from the Gift Tree program. For a donation of $35, we will plant a young native tree in honor of a friend and send an acknowledgment card to the person you choose - get a Gift Tree online or at our Nature Store.

Backyard Habitat Certification: Site Visit Gift Certificate

Give the gift of a wildlife-friendly yard. Our Backyard Habitat Certification Program begins with a site visit to participants' home or property, and each visit costs $25. Purchase a gift certificate for this one-hour backyard visit, which helps participants develop a plan to make their yard a welcoming place for native wildlife. Buy online or in the Nature Store.
