Jan 29 (Mon), 7-9PM: Class in Heron Hall
Feb 2-4 (Fri -Sun), 3-day Field trip (transportation not provided)

Explore the winter wonderland of Wallowa County on this self-driving trip! We will start at the Ponderosa Inn in Enterprise at 7am on Friday, Feb 2, and the trip ends at around 2pm on Sunday in Enterprise. You will provide for your own lodging in Enterprise and transportation to get there, but we will carpool from there. Driving the often snow-covered roads while you are there is not typically a problem. Lunch will be mainly consumed while driving, but we will return to the hotel just past 4pm and there will plenty of time for a nice dinner.

Some of the regional specialties we will be looking for include Bohemian Waxwing, Gray Partridge, Snow Bunting, Gray-crowned Rosy-finch, American Tree Sparrow and Pine Grosbeak. Gyrfalcon is possible, but not reliable every season.
