June 3 - 14, 2012 with Dan van den Broek and Don Coggswell

Atlantic Puffins and Razorbills
U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Maine
Small bays and inlets with vast coastal estuaries attract many birds along the beautiful Maine shoreline.  While exploring the coast from Scarborough to Acadia and Lubec, we'll search for Common Eider, Little Blue Heron, and Nelson's Sparrow. We'll take a boat to the nesting seabird colonies of Machias Island where the air is filled with the raucous calls of Atlantic Puffins, Razorbills as well as both Common and Arctic Terns.  A visit to Mt. Washington for eastern warblers, Boreal Chickadee and the enigmatic Bicknell's Thrush.

Fee: $2195.00 member / $2495.00 non-members

Deposit:  $1100

Group size: 14 participants
