Ever wondered how you would feed yourself if there were no supermarkets? Curious about how people mimic the intricate patterns of the woods to grow crops without chemicals?  Hop on board as we explore the connections between farming and the wilderness. Make butter from milk and dyes from native plants. We’ll visit local natural areas and farms to learn how people are acting as stewards of the land while growing healthy foods for their communities. On Thursday, we’ll head up to Audubon’s Marmot Cabin, located in the foothills of Mt. Hood, to spend the night and explore a forest filled with wildlife and many safe, edible delights.
