Do Pacific Giant Salamanders really bark when they’re upset?  Do Pacific Treefrogs actually hang out in trees?  These questions and more will all be answered as we search the favorite hideouts of the reptiles and amphibians living in the Pacific NW.  Plunge your hands into the cool waters of Oneonta Gorge, grasping for a Cope’s Giant Salamander.  Overturn rocks at Catherine Creek in hopes of startling a Northern Alligator Lizard from its hiding spot.  Learn how to identify Red-legged Frogs right here in the Audubon Sanctuary and hike the trails in search of the Rough-skinned Newt. Become an expert on

these fascinating creatures as we search high and low for all things scaly and slimy.
