Kids with Bows
D. Schertz

Bow or blade? That is the question you answer during this unforgettable week of wilderness ways and skills. Come join us and select which of the two tools you craft, from start to finish. Choose the path of the archer and learn how to carve an ancient tool that launches an arrow by steady arm and keen aim. Or choose the ancient art of blacksmithing as you forge your knife with fire, hammer and anvil. Learn tapers, splits, twists and even how to punch holes in hot metal.

Beyond bow or blade, we will spend the week delving into an ancient world of wisdom and knowledge through hands-on activities in wilderness survival and awareness. Become skilled in the core routines of camouflage and stealth, how to create warm shelter and make fires even in the damp forests of the Pacific Northwest. Learn what plants are edible and what plants can be turned into medicine. Welcome to the camp where we explore all these fantastic feats and more.

Whichever route you choose, you will learn how to safely make and use a tool that will last you a lifetime. Leave with a new set of skills that you can utilize in any environment!
