Girls-Only Backpacker:

Olympic National Park

Join Audubon’s experienced female staff for this amazing once-in-a-lifetime experience!  This empowering all-girls expedition will begin as we caravan with the boys team to majestic Olympic National Park.  Laugh harder than you have in years as you build your strength, confidence and wilderness skills while hiking along the banks of the glacier-fed Quinault River.  Venture into the awe-inspiring Enchanted Valley, where you can visit a historic backcountry ranger station, catch glimpses of hanging glaciers and search for animal tracks and sign and edible plants.  With the towering peaks and verdant valleys of the Olympics as our classroom, we will work together to learn the secrets behind successful backcountry travel skills such as Orienteering, Leave No Trace principles, Basic First Aid, Survival Skills, and Backcountry Cooking. After a week of building lasting
