Yeti

There are many who believe that in the remote corners of the Cascades, treads an animal so elusive that few have been able to catch a glimpse of it. Come join us on our fact finding mission as we explore the forests and snowfields of Mt. Hood in an effort to search for the creatures that survive in its wintery landscape. We will use our knowledge of the Yeti  and its winter adaptations to discover ways that we can survive in colder environments. Come snowshoe in search of animal tracks, help build snow shelters to stay warm- and to protect you during a snowball battle! After the day is done, retire to Marmot Cabin for a night of hot cocoa and stories around a roaring fire. Wake up the next morning to a Yeti-sized breakfast feast and spend the day honing your survival skills in the Joe Miller Wildlife Sanctuary that surrounds the cabin. This is sure to be an epic overnight adventure!
