Portland Audubon’s Wildlife Care Center is the oldest and busiest wildlife rehabilitation facility in Oregon. Our goal is to give injured animals a second chance at life in the wild and to reduce wildlife hazards in the community.

The Wildlife Care Center
Portland Audubon’s Wildlife Care Center is the oldest and busiest wildlife rehabilitation facility in Oregon. Each year, the care center treats about 3,000 animals for release back into the wild and responds to more than 15,000 wildlife-related inquiries.
Our goal is to give injured animals a second chance at life in the wild and to reduce wildlife hazards in the community. The care center operates under permits issued by the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
