The circle encompasses all of Sauvie Island (parking permits required) and some adjacent territory around Scappoose; Vancouver Lake and the lowlands, Salmon Creek area through Ridgefield, all of the Ridgefield NWR and some territory to the Lewis River. For counting on the WA side of the river, contact Susan (contact info above – please text or email on from Dec. 10-20); for counting on the OR side of the river, contact Karen Bachman at 971-207-7754, pppahooie@comcast.net.  If you are new to the CBC, we can pair you with more experienced birders. If you live in the count circle, feeder counters are welcome too!
