Bird Alliance of Oregon Birding Day: Migration at Oak Island with Brodie Cass Talbott *FULL*

With a rare stand of mature Oak forest, miles of rich shoreline, and open meadow, Oak Island is one of the most exciting places in the Portland area to enjoy fall migration.

On this self-driving trip, we’ll work on tricky songbird identification and scan for shorebirds as we hike the Oak Island nature trail, a pleasant 3-mile loop trail, and visit other nearby hotspots as time allows.

Come dressed for the sun, and bring a daypack with water and snacks. An ODFW parking pass is required for this trip.

Trip limited to 10 participants.

All COVID-19 safety protocols dictated by the Oregon Health Authority will be followed on our outdoor programs. Masks are mandatory.
