Bird Alliance of Oregon Birding Day: Autumn Shorebird Migration with John Rakestraw *FULL*

On this day-long van trip we will explore various sites along the coast from Seaside to Fort Stevens, looking for as many different shorebird species as possible.

As conditions allow, we will study each species to practice our identification skills. Attending Shorebirds I and/or Shorebirds II is recommended but not required to take this trip.

This trip will involve some walking on sand and on rocky terrain. Wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather. Bring food and water. Proof of vaccination is required because we will be traveling in a van together.

Trip limited to 7 participants.

This outdoor program will follow all physical distancing and safety protocols dictated by the Oregon Health Administration. Masks required. Please feel free to bring your own spotting scope if you have one. Scroll down for details.
