Afternoon Explorers
Join us and one of our experienced educators on guided activities at our Nature Sanctuary for kids age 2nd-5th. See wildlife, engage in hands-on activities and explore everything that the forest has to offer. If you like walking through the woods and getting your hands dirty, we hope to see you there!
Creatures of the Night Come out and learn about some of the night’s most iconic species. Learn the different ways that species like bats and owls survive, and the adaptations that allow them to do so. Dissect owl pellets to learn what they eat and take a hike to search the forest for signs of the creatures of the night! Because this class is so close to Halloween, we encourage you to dress up as your favorite animal, but this is not required.
*This all outdoor program is limited to a maximum of seven children, and will follow all social distancing and safety protocols dictated by the Oregon Health Administration. Please see below.
