*FULL* All-Inclusive Bird Walk at Reed

Join Trevor Attenberg (blind birder) for a sound-centered bird walk through Reed Canyon and around Reed Pond on the campus of Reed College in Southeast Portland. This is a walk for everyone, but intends to be inclusive especially for the blind and visually impaired. The terrane includes mature riparian woods, wetlands, and open water. This will be a relatively easy trek of slightly over a mile.

We will begin outside the Performing Arts Building near the Reed College West Parking entrance off of SE 28th Ave.

If you enter here, veer left, and there will be parking spaces, as well as a cement ledge to sit on. For those taking the TriMet Lift Service, the closest address is 5801 SE 28th Ave. at the Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden, which is just across the street from this meeting point. The closest bus line is the 19 stop at Woodstock and SE 34th Ave.

Wear weather appropriate attire. Trails can get muddy in spots.
