Archery 101 *FULL*

We will spend part of each day learning the skills of shooting a bow as we adventure along the trails of Bird Alliance of Oregon’s Nature Sanctuary. Learn the proper form and technique for shooting a bow and arrow, skills that will last you a lifetime. Move through the woods, using bird language as our guide to move undetected and learn skills that will make you safe, comfortable and confident while connecting to nature.

Week-long Camp: August 8 – August 12, 8:30/8:45 a.m. – 3:15/3:30 p.m.
Grades: 3-5
Drop off Location:
Grades 3-5 meet at Upper Macleay Park, which neighbors Bird Alliance of Oregon on Cornell Road to the east.
Type of Camp: In the Sanctuary day camps combine art, science experiments and games with explorations of our beautiful, 172-acre Nature Sanctuary and neighboring Forest Park.
