Audubon Birding Day: Willamette Valley Refuges – Ankeny
Join Brodie Cass Talbott for a trip to Ankeny National Wildlife Refuge, the second in a series of Audubon Birding Days exploring the Willamette Valley Refuge System, a haven for wintering waterfowl, and a sanctuary for imperiled oak savanna habitat.
We will spend the day looking for waterfowl and raptors at one of the top birding hotspots in the Willamette Valley. Targets include White-tailed Kite, Merlin, and Tundra Swan.
Bring lunch and dress for the weather!
