Cancelled: Bird Alliance of Oregon Birding Day: Around Yamhill County

Please note, this event has been cancelled due to COVID-19. For all updates on our programming during COVID-19, please click here.

Explore Yamhill county with Stefan! We will visit the Sheridan Sewage Ponds and try for target species like Wrentit, Acorn Woodpecker and Streaked Horned Lark. Maybe we will be too late for Rough-legged Hawk. but then maybe not.

Meet at the Hall/Nimbus WES Park & Ride (45.457114, -122.786944). Take the Hall Blvd exit west from 217. Then either stay on (coming from the north) or turn onto SW Cascade Ave (coming from the east) for barely 50yds, then veer to the right towards the platforms. If you are on the east side of the mall, you missed this turn and have to go back to almost Hall Blvd again.

Dress for the weather and bring lunch.
