The Bird Days of Summer: Snowy Plover Hike and Bike at Bayocean Peninsula (Oregon Coast)

Join Portland Audubon Coastal Community Science Biologist, Allison Anholt and learn about the endangered snowy plover life history, conservation challenges and habitat. There will be good opportunities to view plovers, along with lots of other coastal, forest, and seabirds.

This walk will last around 4 hours and involve walking on uneven, sandy terrain. Please bring your own bike (may have a couple to borrow if needed!) We will have a scope but please consider bringing your own binoculars, as well as water and appropriate footwear.
