Distance Learning: Beginning Shorebird Identification

This class will introduce you to the most common shorebird species found during southbound migration, which runs from July through October. We will study both adult and juvenile plumage, behavior, and habitat choices of these long-distance migrants. Local author and guide John Rakestraw will show you how to identify these incredible birds!
