How to Identify Birds, Part 1: Size & Shape

Whether at your feeder or visiting a natural area, bird identification can be downright difficult. In this two-part introduction to bird identification, we’ll look at the important features to take note of, and the pitfalls to be aware of. Part 1 will focus on identifying birds by size and shape – clues that seem obvious, but can lead even experienced birders astray.

Join us for How to Identify Birds, Part 2: Habitat and Behavior & the companion field trip to Mt. Tabor
