BRINK & Ascent 2020: Art Shows Benefiting Portland Audubon

For the eighth year in a row, Talon and Antler Galleries will be supporting Portland Audubon by donating 20% of proceeds from the upcoming art shows BRINK and Ascent, showing simultaneously at their adjoining galleries. Join us at the opening night to see nature-inspired artwork centering around endangered and extinct species.

Artwork featured in the Ascent show focuses on birds exclusively, and BRINK features mammals, reptiles, amphibians, and other members of the non-avian animal kingdom.

Artwork by Victoria Steiner, one of 19 artists exhibiting work at BRINK and Ascent.

The artists who have contributed their work to the show over the years have explored themes of extinction, prompting people to consider issues surrounding endangered species and further connecting them to nature. Each artist has a different perspective but, from California Condors to the Dodo, always stay centered on the natural world.

Featured artists: Vanessa Rivera, Josie Morway, Kellie Orr, Johnny Acurso, Michael Dandley, Jackie Avery, Jon MacNair, Zoe Keller, Frank Gonzales, Katy Harrald, Zach Johnson, Kelly Tunstall, Ferris Plock, Susannah Kelly, Veronica Steiner, Sabek, Vanessa Foley, Alessandro Gallo, Heiko Muller
