Ducks at a Distance with John Rakestraw

Waterfowl are easy up close, but what do you do when they are farther out?

This class will focus on recognizing birds from a greater distance using shape, color patterns, and behavior. We will cover all the regularly-occurring ducks and geese, and will practice differentiating similar species from each other. Whether you are just learning your ducks or want to identify the various subspecies of Cackling Goose, this class will give you the tools you need to hone your identification skills.
