Afternoon Series: Beginning Field Birding and Sauvie Island Exploration *FULL*

This is a three-part series on Saturday afternoons in 2022: February 5, March 5, and April 2.

Join Greg Baker for Saturday afternoon explorations at one of Oregon’s most accessible Important Bird Areas, Sauvie Island Wildlife Area.

This class series is perfect for those interested in developing and sharpening their birding skills under a variety of field conditions with expert birders. Explore different habitats on the island, learn bird calls, and search for waterfowl, songbirds, and raptors.

Meet Greg at the Sauvie Island parking lot near the bridge at 12:30 pm each Saturday. Parking permits must also be purchased on your own.
