Birds of the Forest

The forests of the Coast Range and the western slopes of the Cascades are home to some of the most sought-after bird species in Oregon. Tall trees and thick understories make birding these habitats especially challenging. This class will teach you to identify birds of the forest by both sight and sound and will give you tips for finding these elusive species.
