Field Trip: Hopkins Demonstration Forest *FULL*
We will hike the extensive trail system of this 140-acre forest in Oregon City. We expect to find the common inhabitants of the Pacific Northwest coniferous forest such as Varied Thrush, Golden-crowned Kinglet, and Red-breasted Sapsucker. In the clearing and brushy patches we’ll find Fox Sparrow and Ruby-crowned Kinglet, while Common Raven wheel about overhead. There is always a chance of finding an owl such as Great Horned, Barred, or Northern Pygmy Owl.
Please dress for the weather. You will drive yourself for the day. Dan will reach out with further details before the trip.
Trip limited to 10 participants.
