Field Trip: Birding by Ear – Winter Migrants with Brodie Cass Talbott

There’s no better way to up your winter birding game than learning the chip notes and alarm calls of our migrant songbirds. On this field trip, we’ll enjoy all of the birds of this wonderful refuge, paying special attention to what we hear from our skulking winter migrants.

We’ll meet at the parking lot on SE 7th Avenue before hiking down to the refuge. Total distance around 2 miles, on gravel and mud trails, with one moderate hill. Come dressed for any kind of weather!
