Gardens & Greenspaces *4 spots left*

For the budding gardeners and nature lovers, this camp takes you on a tour of incredible natural areas in and around Portland! Explore local gardens and parks to see what it takes to tend to the plants that are essential to a healthy ecosystem. Visit Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden to see birds up close, the Rose Garden to take in the amazing variety of scents, and Leach Botanical Garden to learn about native plants and local greenspaces. Create a variety of crafts that are based on the sights and smells of the week!

Week-long Camp: August 22 – August 26, 8:30/8:45 a.m. – 3:15/3:30 p.m.
Grades: 6-8
Drop off Location:
Grades 6-8 meet at Upper Macleay Park, which neighbors Bird Alliance of Oregon on Cornell Road to the east.
Type of Camp: On the Go Camps are day camps that travel by van or bus to learn about some of the beautiful parks, greenspaces and forests that are in and surround Portland.
