Herpetology 102 *FULL*

No camp Monday, July 4.

Become an expert on the fascinating world of amphibians and reptiles as we learn the ways of a true Herpetologist. Peek under rocks of local streams and look behind logs as we search for interesting snakes, frogs and salamanders. Look for reptiles in the Columbia Gorge, where the drier landscapes provide excellent habitat for snakes and lizards. We will make sure to save time for you to have an up close meet and greet with Bybee, our Ambassador Western Painted Turtle!

Week-long Camp: July 5 (Tuesday) – July 8, 8:30/8:45 a.m. – 3:15/3:30 p.m.
Grades: 6-8
Drop off Location:
Grades 6-8 meet at Upper Macleay Park, which neighbors Bird Alliance of Oregon on Cornell Road to the east.
Type of Camp: On the Go Camps are day camps that travel by van or bus to learn about some of the beautiful parks, greenspaces and forests that are in and surround Portland.
