Bird Journals Basics: Suggesting Habitats with Jude Siegel

In this class, you will develop your unique artistic style focusing on creating habitat and of course you will get more practice painting birds. Patterns, shapes, and paints can represent trees, water, rocks and other surroundings in our bird journals. Let’s get creative!

No art experience is needed! Relaxation and awareness help you learn new ways of seeing, and then of drawing and using watercolor simply. For joy, not mastery! Keeping a bird journal is fun, easy, portable, and a creative relaxing way to record your experiences with birds, at home, or anywhere in the field in a more creative than “perfection” style. Each class has a different focus, and each class reviews some basics.

Jude is a teacher, artist, and naturalist who loves nature journaling, and has invited and inspired many people to begin and continue this joyful creative process.
