Little Brown Birds: Finches, Wrens and Blackbirds

The thickets and fields are full of little brown birds, all looking alike at first glance.

This class will examine three groups of little brown birds: finches, wrens, and blackbirds. We will study the shapes, markings, and behaviors of each species, learning the subtle characteristics that make each species unique. Soon you will be recognizing the great diversity among the little brown birds in your local patch.
