Nature Adventure Club: Raptor Rama – Raptor Species Highlights

Join Abby to explore the amazing world of birds of prey. These classes will explain what characteristics they have that identify them as a raptor. Learn about their beak, eyes, speed, talons, and hearing, and how they catch their prey.

Raptor Species Highlights: Do you know how to tell the difference between a Red-tailed Hawk and a Cooper’s Hawk? Ever wondered why Osprey only visit Oregon in spring or how American Kestrels hover? This final class on raptors will explore several of the other species who call Oregon home.

Fee: $14.95 members and $19.95 for non-members, per session.
Grades: 2nd-5th
When: June 16, 2020
Zoom: A secure Zoom link will be sent to the email address you used to register, one to two days before the session.
