Walking along the water’s edge, the elegant Great Blue Heron is a common sight. This class will focus on how to paint feathers in multiple shades of blue and white, capturing the light reflecting off the blue-gray heron basking in the sun. Let’s focus on a close-up view, as they are seen more often at close range than any other heron. Slowing down the pace, we will learn how to paint, in fine detail, the incredible intricacies of this large, magnificent bird.
