Deconstructing Composition with Faraaz Abdool
The aesthetics of beauty are examined within this session. Here, within the context of nature photography, we look at what truly makes a compelling composition within the four walls of the frame. It has long been established that beauty and mathematics share an intimate relationship. Their common ground is the natural world, and we will investigate the mathematical relationships between elements in nature photographs including ratios, shapes, lines, patterns, and much more.
Using many examples, we will mathematically break down what makes compositional sense; and what doesn’t.
This class is the first in a four-part photography series. Please register seperately for each class.
