Watercolor Painting with Ronna: The Red-breasted Sapsucker
This is an interactive, live, online art class on Zoom.
Join this live, online class to paint the Red-breasted Sapsucker alongside Ronna Fujisawa, an experienced watercolor painter, art educator, and bird enthusiast. The class is held via Zoom Meetings to allow participants to use their videos and create a more interactive class. Appropriate for intermediate and ambitious beginners.
Such a lovely woodpecker…. the shy and elusive Red-breasted Sapsucker will make an appearance! Learn how to paint this commonly found bird in watercolor. The focus of this class is all about contrast, building up value in subtle and dramatic ways as we study the black and white wings and the brilliant red head of the Red-breasted Sapsucker.
Students can paint along with Ronna during this live class or work at their own pace with access to the recording of the class after the session.
