Nature Adventure Club: Fall Migration

September is a busy time of year – especially for birds! This month, Nature Adventure Club will focus on fall migration. As birds are starting to make their migrations down south, learn about why birds migrate, the challenges they may face and one of the most special group of visitors we get right here in Portland!

Getting Swifty With It In this session, learn all about the magic behind Vaux’s Swifts, one of Portland’s most famous bird species. We’ll discuss why they make their home in our city’s chimneys, the special adaptations they have, where they migrate to, and much more!
