Skulls, Fangs & Claws, Session 2 *FULL*

Can you name the top five predators in Oregon? Do you know what makes them such good hunters? Come out as we learn about predators big and small and learn about the adaptations that makes them stealthy, successful hunters! Handle real skulls and pelts to get a first hand look at some of these magnificent animals that call Oregon home. We’ll look for signs on the trail that would tell you these animals have passed through as well as ways to stay safe if you ever encounter them.

Week-long Camp — Creature Creators Track: July 17 – July 21, 8:30/8:45 a.m. – 3:00/3:15 p.m.
Grades: 2-3
Drop off Location:
Grades 2-3 meet in Heron Hall, in our Interpretive Center at, 5151 NW Cornell Rd. Please drop campers off in paved parking lot on north side of campus.
Type of Camp: In the Sanctuary day camps combine art, science experiments and games with explorations of our beautiful, 172-acre Nature Sanctuary and neighboring Forest Park.
