This camp will bring you face to face with the world of wildlife veterinarians. You will meet the experts of our very own Wildlife Care Center. Put on your wildlife vet coat as you participate in mock intake exams on injured stuffed animals, look at x-rays of injured animals and create projects to help wild animals thrive in our city.

When: March 24, 8:30/8:45 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Grades: 2nd, 3rd, and 4th

Educators

Abby

Abby started at Bird Alliance of Oregon in 2017 as a seasonal educator before joining the staff full time. Growing up in Portland, Abby spent her time exploring all that the NW has to offer and loves sharing her favorite spots with campers every summer. Abby has extensive experience leading and teaching groups in the outdoors and has taught everything from cello to skiing. While leading groups, Abby makes sure every camper feels like a part of the group while also getting to know each individual camper. Every camp with Abby will be filled with great food, laughter and time to explore individual and group passions. When she is not out leading groups, you can find Abby skiing, hiking, backpacking, playing frisbee and occasionally relaxing at home.
