Spring Shorebirds with John Rakestraw

Spring shorebird migration is concentrated in late April and early May as thousands of birds make their way to arctic nesting grounds.

This class will introduce you to all the regularly occurring species, and teach you how to recognize them by color patterns, size, shape, and behavior. This class will cover both inland and coastal species.
